Make a Bird Feeder from an Orange

Cragmama is this awesome mom who started the great site Craigmama because she believes outdoor adventures don’t have to end just because you have kids. Now she’s starting to have little cragbabies to join her on her journey (you’re going to have to read her site if you want to know what the heck a cragbaby is).

Here’s one of her recent projects she did—making a bird feeder from an orange half. I think Cragmama Erica is a great example of incorporating nature into a family, no matter how young the kids are. Her little one is a toddler, yet these little efforts do add up.

DIY bird feeders (remember the traditional pine cone covered in peanut butter?) have made great gifts for years. What else have you seen out there?
