DIY Strawberry Limeade or Lemonade

I adore strawberry limeades from Sonic or lemonade with chunks of strawberry floating about. I love sucking up a big chunk of strawberry in my straw and digging them out of the ice at the end. So with it being strawberry season and berries being so cheap, we smashed some up for a summer drink.

By the way, if you’re a strawberry limeade fan and you’re looking for a low-cal option (don’t look up how many calories are in Sonic’s version), you can make your own using the low-cal limeade at the store. I think it’s the Minute Maid brand. It’s REALLY good. Here are the recipes for both strawberry lemonade and strawberry limeade. Just mix everything together and enjoy!

Strawberry Lemonade

  • 2 cups lemonade
  • 2 teaspoons sliced or crushed strawberries
  • 2 pieces of fresh mango

Strawberry Limeade

  • 1 1/2 cup low cal limeade
  • 1/2 cup Sprite Zero
  • 2 teaspoons slides or crushed strawberries
  • 2 slices of lime, squeezed
